Not many Border exhibitors and even less exhibits, many putting it down to the extreme weather that has now persisted for quite awhile, blooms either were on the small side or finished flowering before the shows. Only two exhibitors contested the Championship Class which was won with a vase of 12 Mystic Ray Knight, shown by Ian and Liam Ledger, who went on to also win the George Shields Class.
Best bloom of Borders went to Reg Willis for a very nice bloom of White Champagne.
Best Vase in the show went to Brian Duffy for a very good vase of P/fs, Crompton Princess.
Reg receiving his award for his very nice bloom of White Champagne.
Ian being presented with the George Shields Award from Jamie after winning the three vase class
Brian's excellent vase of Crompton Princess which glistened in the sunlight, the vase deservingly won Best Vase in the Show.
Just some of the Border Carnations shown.

Bob Snowball cleaned up in the Pinks, following on from Last week's show, above another seedling white
which looked very good indeed. Also Grange Josephine, a very nice scented P/F.
