Members Gardens Paul Harmer
Here we have a few pics of members Greenhouses, they may give useful ideas to new members
Paul's allotment is within a quarter of a mile of the beach at Blackhall Colliery. He has an open situation but can have problems with 'sea fret' during summer months when the wind is blowing from the sea.
We return to Pauls Garden in 2014 to find many changes
No shortage of blooms now Paul is expecting a good cut for Harrogate next month
These blooms are to a very high standard they will definitely take some beating
Paul did extremely well last Sunday at the Yorkshire society show winning the championship class and several others
Pauls borders looking very good as we would expect. Borders are now Pauls primary blooms.
(Above) Paul has greatly reduced his stock of Perpetuals to around 130 plants. Very clean plants and greenhouse a good habit to get into.
(Left) Paul's seedlings now well advanced
Paul has also returned to growing Spray Chrysanthemums Paul used to grow these a few years and was National champion. There may be one or two growers taking a keen interest on how he does with these
